Greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We believe that “being connected”, “finding a place”, is important to people. God created us to be connected to one another through the gift of community. Here at Grace Church you will find a church community that celebrates this gift through its mission and ministries.
We offer opportunities for you to connect with God and one another in our worship, learning, fellowship and serving.
We offer opportunities to connect with one another as children of God and brothers and sisters in Christ, as we gather together in Word and sacrament and are sent out to serve God and neighbor here in Pottstown, Montgomery County, and throughout the world.
We offer opportunities to connect the stories of our individual and collective faith journeys and our joys and sorrows with God’s Story, promises and desires for our life, our passions for ministry as we walk together in faith.
The people of God here at Grace Church are connected to a rich history that began in 1896. By the grace of God, we look forward to continuing our witness to the love of God in Christ Jesus for many years to come.
Welcome to Grace Church web-site! We invite you to come and experience the gift of community that we offer and share in the name of the Lord. Come and visit us on Charlotte Street. You just might “find your place here”.

Letter Announcing Pastor Sease (1)
12 September 2014
Dear Fellow Members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church,
The Church Council is pleased to announce that, on the recommendation of the Call Committee, and after prayerful consideration, we are recommending Karen Sease, as a candidate for the position of Pastor here at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. To this end we are extending an invitation to all of you to join us on Sunday, 5 October 2014 at 9:00am for her trial sermon with a special meeting to follow immediately afterwards for the sole purpose of voting to accept or reject Pastor Sease. There will also be a Meet and Greet event on Saturday, 4 October 2014 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm to allow anyone who wishes to come and meet Pastor Sease and get to know her a little prior to the meeting on Sunday morning. We are sending along a brief bio of Pastor Karen Sease with this letter, click here Karen M Sease Bio or PDF Karen M Sease Bio.
There will be no Saturday evening worship that week as we will be spending that time to greet the candidate. We ask that any and all members who normally worship on Saturday please try to join us on Sunday morning for the service and the vote. We also ask that any of our normally homebound members consider joining us on Sunday morning, 5 October as well. If anyone who is normally homebound or who normally worships on Saturday evening would need assistance to get to church for the service on Sunday morning please contact the church office and let Elaine know so we can do our best to provide transportation where needed.
We further ask that any and all voting members of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church please ensure that you have made a contribution of record and have filled out a Communion Record Card Prior to 5 October 2014. If you have any question as to whether you have made a contribution of record please check with me, or Donna Romig, or simply make sure you make one between now and Sunday, 28 September 2014.
Your fellow servant in Christ,
Phillip D. Richard
Church Council President
