Readers will discuss One Thousand Wells by Jena Lee Nardella.  A true story about Jena Nardella who, ten years ago and fresh out of college, had a dream to build 1,000 water wells in Africa. She turned her $1 nonprofit, Blood:Water, into $25 million today. Along the way Jena faced many harsh realities that tested her faith. She encountered brokenness that nearly destroyed everything she’s fought for and discovered that true change comes only when you stop trying to change the world and allow yourself to love it, even when it breaks your heart.

Children’s VBS Sunday School: Sunday school is currently offered for children from Age 2 up to Grade 6. A similar concept to our summer Vacation Bible School, the children gather with their teachers and friends for Bible stories, crafts, and games.

Children’s Church: Children Grade 2 and younger are invited to attend Children’s Church during the regular Sunday service. Children who want to attend children’s church go with two teachers before the adult sermon for a short story, activity sheet and play time. Children return to their parents before communion. The lessons are aligned with the church year and are read from a Story Bible.

Children’s Sermon: A Children’s Sermon every Sunday after the reading of the gospel.  Afterwards, children may go to Children’s Church or rejoin their families.

Vacation Bible School: Every summer Grace Lutheran Church hosts Vacation Bible School.  Please check back for information for our 2019 session.
