Sunday School for all ages is at 10:30am!
The Adult Class meets after worship for conversations about faith sharing, stewardship, worship, and what it means to be both a Lutheran and a Christian in today’s society.
Children’s classes are divided by age group. Sunday school is currently offered for children from Age 2 up to Grade 6. The children gather with their teachers and friends for Bible stories, crafts, and games.
Children’s Church: Children Grade 2 and younger are invited to attend Children’s Church during the regular Sunday service. Children who want to attend children’s church go with two teachers before the adult sermon for a short story, activity sheet and play time. Children return to their parents before communion. The lessons are aligned with the church year and are read from a Story Bible. The children work in two separate groups, Pre-Reader and Reader, when completing the Worship Bulletin that accompanies each lesson.
Children’s Sermon: Pastor Wright delivers a Children’s Sermon every Sunday after the reading of the gospel. Afterwards, children may go to Children’s Church or rejoin their families.
Vacation Bible School – Every summer Grace Lutheran Church hosts Vacation Bible School. This week-long event needs many adults and older teens to volunteer. In 2016, VBS ran from June 26 – June 30, 6:15pm until 8:30pm. The theme was Deep Sea Discovery and we learned that “God is with me wherever I go.”
